Huawei Mate X2 has an overall score of 89.1, which is much better than the Sony Xperia Z5 Premium's global score of 79.8. Xperia Z5 Premium counts with a lot better looking screen than Huawei Mate X2, because although it has a lot smaller display, it also counts with a better 3840 x 2160 pixels resolution and a way higher display pixel density.
Huawei Mate X2 features just a bit better camera than Sony Xperia Z5 Premium, because although it has a smaller diafragm aperture which is not recommended for low light captures, and they both have the same 3840x2160 (4K) video resolution and the same 30 fps video frame rates, the Huawei Mate X2 also counts with a back facing camera with a much higher resolution.
The Huawei Mate X2 has a lot bigger memory to store more apps and games than Xperia Z5 Premium, because although it has no external SD slot, it also counts with 256 GB internal storage capacity. Huawei Mate X2 features better battery duration than Xperia Z5 Premium, because it has 4500mAh of battery capacity.
Although Huawei Mate X2 is a better device, it is way more expensive than the Sony Xperia Z5 Premium, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as Sony Xperia Z5 Premium. If you are trying to save some dollars, you can buy the Sony Xperia Z5 Premium, giving up a couple features, but you'll get the most out of your savings.
