The LG G7 ThinQ is just a bit better than the Sony Xperia Z5 Premium, getting an 81 score against 79.8. The LG G7 ThinQ design has the same thickness than Sony Xperia Z5 Premium, but it's lighter. Both of these phones have Android OS (Operating System), but LG G7 ThinQ has a newer 9.0 Pie version while Sony Xperia Z5 Premium has Android 5.1, so it provides a lot of extra features.

The Xperia Z5 Premium has a bit sharper display than LG G7 ThinQ, because although it has a little smaller display, it also counts with a higher 3840 x 2160 resolution and a greater quantity of pixels per inch of display. The LG G7 ThinQ counts with just a bit better processing power than Xperia Z5 Premium, because although it has doesn't have a graphics processing unit, and they both have a Octa-Core CPU, the LG G7 ThinQ also counts with a higher amount of RAM.

LG G7 ThinQ has a lot bigger storage for games and applications than Sony Xperia Z5 Premium, because it has a SD memory card expansion slot that admits a maximum of 1,95 TB and 64 GB internal memory. Sony Xperia Z5 Premium features a bit better camera than LG G7 ThinQ, because although it has a tinier aperture which is not so good for shooting pictures and videos in low-light situations and slower video frame rate, and they both have the same video quality, the Sony Xperia Z5 Premium also counts with a way bigger sensor taking much higher quality videos and photographs and a lot more mega pixels camera.

Xperia Z5 Premium features a bit superior battery performance than LG G7 ThinQ, because it has a 14 percent larger battery size.

In addition to being the best phone between the ones we are comparing, the LG G7 ThinQ is also by far the cheapest, which makes it an obvious call.
