Comparison review
Xperia Z5 Premium has a general score of 79.8, which is just a bit better than the LG Q70's general score of 77.9. The Xperia Z5 Premium design is just a little bit lighter and a bit thinner than the LG Q70, even though it was released 5 years before. These phones use Android OS (operating system), but the Xperia Z5 Premium has 5.1 version while LG Q70 has Android 10.
The Xperia Z5 Premium counts with a bit more powerful processor than LG Q70, because although it has lesser RAM, and they both have 8 processing cores, the Xperia Z5 Premium also counts with an additional graphics processing unit. Xperia Z5 Premium has a much sharper display than LG Q70, because although it has a little bit smaller screen, it also counts with a much higher number of pixels per inch in the screen and a much better 3840 x 2160 resolution.
LG Q70 has a slightly better camera than Xperia Z5 Premium, because although it has a tinier sensor capturing less light and duller colors, and they both have a same size aperture, the same 3840x2160 (4K) video quality and the same video frame rates, the LG Q70 also counts with a back-facing camera with a lot higher 32 mega-pixels resolution.
The LG Q70 counts with a much better memory for applications, games, photos and videos than Xperia Z5 Premium, because it has 64 GB internal memory capacity and a slot for an SD memory card that admits up to 1,95 TB. LG Q70 has a little better battery performance than Xperia Z5 Premium, because it has a 17 percent larger battery size.
Although Xperia Z5 Premium is a better device, it costs a lot more money than the LG Q70, and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as LG Q70. So if you need that extra features, you can buy Xperia Z5 Premium, else you can save some dollars and get the LG Q70, giving up some features and specs.
