Moto G 5G Plus's construction is a lot newer than the Xperia Z5 Premium's, but it's heavier and somewhat thicker. The Sony Xperia Z5 Premium counts with a way better looking display than Moto G 5G Plus, because although it has a quite smaller screen, it also counts with a way higher resolution of 3840 x 2160px and a lot higher pixel number per inch in the screen.

The Motorola Moto G 5G Plus counts with a superior memory capacity for applications, games, photos and videos than Sony Xperia Z5 Premium, because it has 64 GB internal storage and an external memory slot that supports up to 1000 GB. The Xperia Z5 Premium features just a bit better hardware performance than Motorola Moto G 5G Plus, because although it has lesser RAM, and they both have a Octa-Core processor, the Xperia Z5 Premium also counts with a graphics co-processor.
