Comparison review
The Xperia Z5 Premium is a little bit better than the Motorola Moto Z3 Play, with a 79.8 score against 76.3. Xperia Z5 Premium is a noticeably older, somewhat thicker and heavier phone than Motorola Moto Z3 Play. The Xperia Z5 Premium has a much sharper display than Moto Z3 Play, because although it has a quite smaller display, it also counts with a much higher 3840 x 2160 resolution and a much higher count of pixels per inch in the screen.
Xperia Z5 Premium has a bit superior processor than Motorola Moto Z3 Play, because although it has 1 GB less RAM, and they both have a Octa-Core CPU, the Xperia Z5 Premium also counts with an additional graphics processing unit. Sony Xperia Z5 Premium features a bit better camera than Moto Z3 Play, because although it has a smaller aperture, and they both have the same (4K) video definition and the same video frame rate, the Sony Xperia Z5 Premium also counts with a back-facing camera with lot more MP and a bigger back-facing camera sensor taking more light and vivid colors.
The Moto Z3 Play has a much bigger storage capacity for games and applications than Sony Xperia Z5 Premium, because it has 32 GB more internal storage and a SD memory slot that admits up to 1,95 TB. The Xperia Z5 Premium has a bit better battery life than Moto Z3 Play, because it has 3430mAh of battery capacity instead of 3000mAh.
The Xperia Z5 Premium costs a little more than the Motorola Moto Z3 Play, but you can get a better phone for that extra dollars.
