The Xperia Z5 Premium has a score of 79.8, which is a little bit better than Galaxy Note 5's 79.3 global score. Both of these phones work with the same Android 5.1 OS. Although it's the best device in this comparison, Xperia Z5 Premium is an a little bit thicker and a bit heavier device than Galaxy Note 5.

The Sony Xperia Z5 Premium has a brighter screen than Samsung Galaxy Note 5, because although it has a quite smaller screen, it also counts with a way greater display pixels density and a lot higher resolution of 3840 x 2160px. The Sony Xperia Z5 Premium has a greater storage capacity for games and applications than Galaxy Note 5, because although it has less internal memory, it also counts with a SD extension slot that holds a maximum of 200 GB.

Xperia Z5 Premium has a superior processing power than Samsung Galaxy Note 5, because although it has 1 GB less RAM, it also counts with a GPU and more cpu cores. The Xperia Z5 Premium takes slightly better photos and videos than Galaxy Note 5, and although they both have the same (4K) video resolution and the same video frame rate, the Xperia Z5 Premium also has a bigger aperture, a larger back camera sensor capturing higher quality photographs and videos and a camera with a lot better 23 MP resolution.

Sony Xperia Z5 Premium has just a bit better battery performance than Samsung Galaxy Note 5, because it has 3430mAh of battery capacity against 3000mAh.

Although Xperia Z5 Premium is a better device, it costs more than Samsung Galaxy Note 5, and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as Samsung Galaxy Note 5. So if you need that extra specs, you can buy the Xperia Z5 Premium, but if you don't you can save some dollars and get the Samsung Galaxy Note 5, letting go some features and specs.
