Xperia Z5 Premium has a global score of 79.8, which is just a bit better than the Samsung Galaxy S5 Sport's 77.8 global score. Both of these devices include Android OS (operating system), but the Xperia Z5 Premium has a more recent 5.1 version while Samsung Galaxy S5 Sport has Android 4.4.2. Even though Xperia Z5 Premium is heavier than Samsung Galaxy S5 Sport, it's somewhat thinner and also newer.
Samsung Galaxy S5 Sport has a CPU that is very similar to the processing unit in Xperia Z5 Premium, and although the Samsung Galaxy S5 Sport has an inferior number of cores and 1 GB less RAM, they both have a 450 MHz graphics co-processor. The Xperia Z5 Premium has a brighter screen than Galaxy S5 Sport, because it has a lot better 3840 x 2160 resolution, a lot better pixels quantity per display inch and a bit bigger display.
Xperia Z5 Premium counts with a slightly better camera than Galaxy S5 Sport, and although they both have the same 3840x2160 video resolution and the same video frame rates, the Xperia Z5 Premium also has a bigger camera sensor which gives a better image and video quality, a bigger diafragm aperture and a much more mega-pixels back camera.
The Xperia Z5 Premium features a much greater memory to store more games and applications than Galaxy S5 Sport, because it has 16 GB more internal memory capacity and an external SD slot that holds up to 200 GB. The Xperia Z5 Premium counts with better battery lifetime than Galaxy S5 Sport, because it has a 3430mAh battery capacity.
Although Xperia Z5 Premium is a better device, it is a lot more expensive than the Galaxy S5 Sport, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as the Galaxy S5 Sport. So if you need that extra specs, you can buy the Xperia Z5 Premium, else you can save a couple dollars and get the Galaxy S5 Sport, letting go a couple specs and features.
