Comparison review
The Sony Xperia Z5 Premium is just a bit better than the Galaxy S7, with a 79.8 score against 79.5. Sony Xperia Z5 Premium's construction has the same thickness than Galaxy S7, but it is heavier. Xperia Z5 Premium has a bit faster processing unit than Galaxy S7, because although it has a lower amount of RAM, it also counts with a larger number of cores and an extra graphics co-processor.
Xperia Z5 Premium features a sharper display than Samsung Galaxy S7, because it has a better pixel density, a quite bigger display and a lot higher 3840 x 2160 resolution. Xperia Z5 Premium shoots a little bit better photos and videos than Galaxy S7, because although it has a smaller aperture which is worse for taking photographs and videos in poorly lited environments, and they both have the same video frame rates and the same (4K) video resolution, the Xperia Z5 Premium also counts with a lot more megapixels back-facing camera and a bigger camera sensor providing a higher image quality.
Galaxy S7 has as much storage capacity to store more games and applications as Sony Xperia Z5 Premium, they have a SD memory card expansion slot that holds a maximum of 200 GB and the same 32 GB internal storage. The Sony Xperia Z5 Premium has just a bit longer battery life than Galaxy S7, because it has a 3430mAh battery capacity.
Although Xperia Z5 Premium is a better device, it costs a lot more than Galaxy S7, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as Galaxy S7. So if you want that extra specs, you can buy the Xperia Z5 Premium, otherwise you can save some money and buy the Galaxy S7, letting go some features and specifications.
