The Samsung Galaxy S9 has an overall score of 83.3, which is just a bit better than the Sony Xperia Z5 Premium's 79.8 overall score. The Samsung Galaxy S9 construction is notably newer and just a little lighter, but also a little bit thicker than Sony Xperia Z5 Premium. The Sony Xperia Z5 Premium has a brighter display than Galaxy S9, because although it has a little smaller screen, it also counts with a better resolution of 3840 x 2160 and a higher number of pixels per inch in the display.

Samsung Galaxy S9 has a way bigger memory capacity to store more games and applications than Sony Xperia Z5 Premium, because it has a slot for an SD memory card that supports a maximum of 400 GB and 32 GB more internal storage capacity. Galaxy S9 features a little bit better processing power than Sony Xperia Z5 Premium, because although it has doesn't have a GPU, and they both have the same number of cores, the Galaxy S9 also counts with a larger amount of RAM.

Xperia Z5 Premium counts with just a bit better battery life than Galaxy S9, because it has 3430mAh of battery capacity instead of 3000mAh.
