Comparison review
The Xperia Z5 Premium is slightly better than the Galaxy XCover 5, getting a 79.8 score against 78.1. Xperia Z5 Premium is a older and just a little bit heavier phone than Galaxy XCover 5, but Sony was able to make it somewhat thinner anyway. Both of these devices work with Android operating system, but the Xperia Z5 Premium has an older 5.1 version and Galaxy XCover 5 has Android 11.
Xperia Z5 Premium counts with a much more vibrant display than Samsung Galaxy XCover 5, because it has a lot higher pixels density, a lot higher 3840 x 2160 resolution and a little bit bigger display. Galaxy XCover 5 features much more storage for apps and games than Sony Xperia Z5 Premium, because it has a SD card slot that supports a maximum of 1 TB and 32 GB more internal memory.
Xperia Z5 Premium features a bit better processing power than Samsung Galaxy XCover 5, because although it has a lower amount of RAM memory, and they both have a Octa-Core processing unit, the Xperia Z5 Premium also counts with a graphics processing unit. Xperia Z5 Premium shoots better pictures and videos than Samsung Galaxy XCover 5, and although they both have the same camera aperture, the Xperia Z5 Premium also has a back camera with way more mega-pixels and a lot better 3840x2160 video definition.
Xperia Z5 Premium has just a bit longer battery duration than Galaxy XCover 5, because it has a 3430mAh battery size.
