The Samsung Galaxy Z Flip has a general score of 88.5, which is much better than the Sony Xperia Z5 Premium's 79.8 score. The Samsung Galaxy Z Flip is a notably newer and just a little bit thinner device than the Sony Xperia Z5 Premium, although it is also a little heavier. Both of these devices use Android operating system, but Samsung Galaxy Z Flip has a more recent 12 version and Sony Xperia Z5 Premium has Android 5.1, counting with a couple additional features.
Galaxy Z Flip features a little bit better processing power than Xperia Z5 Premium, because although it has doesn't have an extra graphics co-processor, and they both have a Octa-Core processor, the Galaxy Z Flip also counts with 5 GB more RAM memory. Xperia Z5 Premium counts with a lot better display than Galaxy Z Flip, because although it has a quite smaller screen, it also counts with a much higher resolution of 3840 x 2160 and a much better count of pixels per inch in the screen.

Xperia Z5 Premium captures clearer photos and videos than Galaxy Z Flip, because although it has worse video frame rate, and they both have a same size camera aperture and the same video quality, the Xperia Z5 Premium also counts with a much better resolution back-facing camera and a bigger back camera sensor taking better quality photographs and videos.

So if you need that extra features and specs, you can buy the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip, otherwise you can save some dollars and buy the Xperia Z5 Premium, resigning some features and specs.
