Comparison review
The Sony Xperia Z5 Premium is slightly better than the Xiaomi Mi 6, having a score of 79.8 against 76.5. Even being the best device in this review, the Sony Xperia Z5 Premium is an older, a little heavier and just a bit thicker device than Xiaomi Mi 6. The Xperia Z5 Premium features an incredibly better looking display than Xiaomi Mi 6, because it has a bit larger display, a much better 3840 x 2160px resolution and a lot more pixels per screen inch.
The Xiaomi Mi 6 counts with a quite bigger storage for applications and games than Sony Xperia Z5 Premium, because although it has no slot for an external memory card, it also counts with 128 GB internal storage. The Xiaomi Mi 6 has just a bit better processing power than Sony Xperia Z5 Premium, because although it has doesn't have a graphics co-processor, and they both have a Octa-Core processor, the Xiaomi Mi 6 also counts with a higher amount of RAM memory.
The Sony Xperia Z5 Premium shoots slightly better videos and photos than Xiaomi Mi 6, and although they both have the same aperture, the same 30 fps video frame rates and the same 3840x2160 (4K) video definition, the Sony Xperia Z5 Premium also has a camera with a way higher 23 MP resolution and a much larger sensor capturing lot higher quality photographs.
The Sony Xperia Z5 Premium counts with a bit better battery duration than Xiaomi Mi 6, because it has a 2 percent more battery size.
Although Sony Xperia Z5 Premium is a better device, it costs more than the Xiaomi Mi 6, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as the Xiaomi Mi 6. If you want to save a few dollars, you can buy Xiaomi Mi 6, and give up a couple features and specs, but you'll get the most with your savings.
