Comparison review

Sony Xperia Z5 Premium has an overall score of 79.8, which is a little bit better than Xiaomi Poco M3's score of 78.2. Both phones in our current comparison work with Android operating system, but Sony Xperia Z5 Premium has the older 5.1 version and Xiaomi Poco M3 has Android 10 version. Sony Xperia Z5 Premium is an noticeably older phone than Xiaomi Poco M3, but Sony was able to make it somewhat thinner and a little bit lighter anyway.

Sony Xperia Z5 Premium counts with a much sharper display than Xiaomi Poco M3, because although it has a little bit smaller screen, it also counts with a lot better pixels number per inch in the display and a much higher resolution of 3840 x 2160px. Xperia Z5 Premium counts with a bit more powerful CPU than Xiaomi Poco M3, because although it has 1 GB less RAM, and they both have the same number of cores, the Xperia Z5 Premium also counts with an additional GPU.

The Xiaomi Poco M3 captures slightly better photos and videos than Sony Xperia Z5 Premium, and although they both have the same video frame rates, the same 1920x1080 video resolution and a F1.8 camera aperture, the Xiaomi Poco M3 also has a lot better 48 megapixels resolution back camera and a bigger back-facing camera sensor shooting higher quality photos and videos.

Xiaomi Poco M3 counts with a much better storage for apps and games than Xperia Z5 Premium, because it has 64 GB internal storage and a SD memory slot that holds a maximum of 512 GB. The Xiaomi Poco M3 has a very superior battery duration than Xperia Z5 Premium, because it has 6000mAh of battery capacity against 3430mAh.

Although Sony Xperia Z5 Premium is a better device, it is way more expensive than the Xiaomi Poco M3, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as Xiaomi Poco M3. So if you want that extra specs, you can buy the Sony Xperia Z5 Premium, but if you don't you can save some money and buy the Xiaomi Poco M3, letting go a couple specifications.
