Comparison review
The Sony Xperia Z5 Premium has a general score of 79.8, which is slightly better than the Xiaomi Redmi Note 9's 76.6 score. Although the Sony Xperia Z5 Premium is way older than Xiaomi Redmi Note 9, it's construction is thinner and just a bit lighter. These phones include Android operating system, but Sony Xperia Z5 Premium has older 5.1 version while Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 has Android 10.
Xperia Z5 Premium has an incredibly better looking screen than Xiaomi Redmi Note 9, because although it has a little bit smaller display, it also counts with a way higher resolution of 3840 x 2160 pixels and a lot greater pixel quantity per inch of display. Xperia Z5 Premium counts with just a little better processing power than Xiaomi Redmi Note 9, and although they both have the same number of cores and a 3 GB RAM, the Xperia Z5 Premium also has an additional GPU.
The Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 has a better memory to install games and applications than Sony Xperia Z5 Premium, because although it has a SD memory card expansion slot that supports up to 128 GB against 200 GB, it also counts with 32 GB more internal memory. Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 features a way better battery lifetime than Sony Xperia Z5 Premium, because it has a 46 percent greater battery capacity.
Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 shoots clearer photographs and videos than Xperia Z5 Premium, and although they both have the same video frame rate, the same 1920x1080 video definition and a same size aperture, the Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 also has a larger camera sensor capturing better quality videos and photos and a much better resolution camera.
Although Sony Xperia Z5 Premium is a better device, it is a lot more expensive than Xiaomi Redmi Note 9, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as Xiaomi Redmi Note 9. If you want to save some dollars, you can buy Xiaomi Redmi Note 9, giving up a couple features and specs, but you'll get the most out of your money.
