Comparison review
Sony Xperia Z5 Premium has a score of 79.8, which is a bit better than Xiaomi Redmi Note 9S's 79 global score. Both of these phones work with Android OS, but Sony Xperia Z5 Premium has 5.1 version and Xiaomi Redmi Note 9S has Android 11 version. Despite of the fact that Sony Xperia Z5 Premium is much older than Xiaomi Redmi Note 9S, it's body is lighter and somewhat thinner.
Xperia Z5 Premium has a bit more powerful processing unit than Xiaomi Redmi Note 9S, because although it has a smaller amount of RAM, and they both have the same number of cores, the Xperia Z5 Premium also counts with an extra GPU. The Xperia Z5 Premium has an incredibly better display than Xiaomi Redmi Note 9S, because although it has a little smaller screen, it also counts with a lot higher resolution of 3840 x 2160px and a lot greater screen pixel density.
Xiaomi Redmi Note 9S captures a little bit better videos and photos than Xperia Z5 Premium, and although they both have the same 3840x2160 video quality, the same 30 frames per second video frame rate and a same size camera aperture, the Xiaomi Redmi Note 9S also has a back facing camera with a lot better resolution and a bigger sensor which gives a better photo and video quality.
Xiaomi Redmi Note 9S features a much greater memory capacity for games and applications than Xperia Z5 Premium, because it has a SD extension slot that holds a maximum of 512 GB and 64 GB internal storage. Xiaomi Redmi Note 9S has a way better battery lifetime than Sony Xperia Z5 Premium, because it has a 5020mAh battery size against 3430mAh.
Although Xperia Z5 Premium is a better device, it costs a lot more than Xiaomi Redmi Note 9S, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as Xiaomi Redmi Note 9S. If you prefer to save some dollars, you can buy the Xiaomi Redmi Note 9S, giving up some specs and features, but you will get the most with your budget.
