Comparison review

Xperia Z5 is a little bit better than Asus ZenFone Max Pro (M2), getting a 77.6 score against 77.4. Both of these devices work with Android operating system, but Xperia Z5 has the previous 5.1 version and Asus ZenFone Max Pro (M2) has Android 9.0 Pie version. Xperia Z5 is an notably older cellphone than Asus ZenFone Max Pro (M2), but Sony made it lighter and thinner anyway.

The Sony Xperia Z5 has just a bit better looking display than Asus ZenFone Max Pro (M2), because although it has a little smaller display and a quite lower resolution of 1920 x 1080, it also counts with a just a little higher pixel amount per display inch. Xperia Z5 has a little faster CPU than Asus ZenFone Max Pro (M2), because although it has a smaller amount of RAM memory, and they both have the same number of cores, the Xperia Z5 also counts with an extra graphics processing unit.

The Xperia Z5 shoots much better pictures and videos than Asus ZenFone Max Pro (M2), and although they both have the same 30 frames per second video frame rates, the same aperture and the same video quality, the Xperia Z5 also has a lot larger camera sensor providing a way better image quality and a back camera with way more megapixels.

Asus ZenFone Max Pro (M2) has a very superior storage capacity for games and applications than Xperia Z5, because it has an external SD slot that holds up to 1,95 TB and more internal memory capacity. Asus ZenFone Max Pro (M2) features a much longer battery life than Sony Xperia Z5, because it has 5000mAh of battery capacity instead of 2900mAh.
