The Google Pixel 8 Pro is just a bit better than the Sony Xperia Z5, with a general score of 80.1 against 77.6. Both phones in this review have Android OS (operating system), but Google Pixel 8 Pro has a newer 13 version while Sony Xperia Z5 has Android 5.1 version. Google Pixel 8 Pro's construction is way thinner and way lighter than the Sony Xperia Z5.
The Xperia Z5 features a brighter display than Google Pixel 8 Pro, although it has a lot worse resolution of 1920 x 1080, a really smaller display and a little bit lower quantity of pixels per screen inch. The Xperia Z5 counts with a much powerful processor than Google Pixel 8 Pro, because although it has a smaller amount of RAM memory, it also counts with a graphics co-processor and a greater number of cores.
The Sony Xperia Z5 shoots much better videos and photos than Google Pixel 8 Pro, although it has a camera with a much lower 23 megapixels resolution. Google Pixel 8 Pro counts with a much bigger storage for games and applications than Xperia Z5, because although it has no SD card slot, it also counts with 256 GB internal storage.
The Google Pixel 8 Pro features a way better battery lifetime than Xperia Z5, because it has 5100mAh of battery capacity.
