Comparison review

The HTC One M9 is a little bit better than the Sony Xperia Z5, having a global score of 77.7 against 77.6. Both devices we are comparing here come with Android OS (operating system), but HTC One M9 has the older 5.0 version while Sony Xperia Z5 has Android 5.1. Although HTC One M9 is better than Sony Xperia Z5, it must be noted that it's also much thicker and just a little bit heavier.

HTC One M9 features a bit more vivid screen than Sony Xperia Z5, because although it has a little bit smaller screen, and they both have the same 1920 x 1080 resolution, the HTC One M9 also counts with a little more pixels per inch in the display. Xperia Z5 counts with just a bit bigger memory for applications and games than HTC One M9, and although they both have the same 32 GB internal memory, the Xperia Z5 also has a slot for external memory cards that supports a maximum of 200 GB.

HTC One M9 has a bit better processor than Sony Xperia Z5, and although they both have a Octa-Core CPU and the same RAM memory amount, the HTC One M9 also has a faster graphics co-processor working at 600 megahertz and a 64 bits CPU. The Xperia Z5 counts with a bit better camera than HTC One M9, and although they both have the same 30 fps video frame rates and the same 3840x2160 (4K) video definition, the Xperia Z5 also has a larger aperture to capture better low light photos and videos, a back facing camera with more mega pixels and a larger sensor taking better quality videos and photographs.

Sony Xperia Z5 counts with a bit longer battery performance than HTC One M9, because it has a 2% bigger battery capacity.

Even being the best phone in our comparison, HTC One M9 is also a lot cheaper.
