Comparison review
The Sony Xperia Z5 is slightly better than the HTC U11, getting a general score of 77.6 against 77.6. The Sony Xperia Z5 is an older cellphone than the HTC U11, but it is just a little thinner and a little bit lighter anyway. The Sony Xperia Z5 has just a bit better looking display than HTC U11, although it has a much lower resolution of 1920 x 1080px, a quite worse screen pixels density and a little bit smaller display.
HTC U11 features a quite bigger memory capacity for games and applications than Sony Xperia Z5, because although it has an external SD slot that admits 72 GB smaller, it also counts with more internal storage capacity. HTC U11 and Xperia Z5 count with very similar CPUs, because although the HTC U11 has doesn't have an extra graphics processing unit, and they both have the same number of cores, it also counts with a greater amount of RAM.
The Xperia Z5 has a slightly better camera than HTC U11, because although it has a smaller aperture which is not good for low light captures, and they both have the same 3840x2160 video definition and the same 30 fps video frame rates, the Xperia Z5 also counts with a camera with way more megapixels and a bigger sensor.
HTC U11 has a little better battery performance than Sony Xperia Z5, because it has a 3% more battery size.
Although Sony Xperia Z5 is a better device, it costs a lot more than the HTC U11, and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as the HTC U11. If you prefer to save a few dollars, you can buy the HTC U11, and give up a few specs and features, but you will get the most out of your budget.
