The Huawei Mate 30 5G has a global score of 87.4, which is much better than the Sony Xperia Z5's global score of 77.6. Huawei Mate 30 5G's design is extremely newer than the Sony Xperia Z5's, although it is notably heavier and thicker. Both of these phones come with Android OS (Operating System), but the Huawei Mate 30 5G has the newer 10 version while Sony Xperia Z5 has Android 5.1, giving a lot of extra features.
