Comparison review
The Huawei Mate 30 Pro 5G has a global score of 90.5, which is better than the Sony Xperia Z5's 77.6 general score. Both phones in this review use Android OS (operating system), but the Huawei Mate 30 Pro 5G has a newer 10 version and Sony Xperia Z5 has Android 5.1, offering a couple nice extra features and performance tweaks. Huawei Mate 30 Pro 5G is a much newer phone than the Sony Xperia Z5, although it is extremely heavier and somewhat thicker.
The Xperia Z5 features a brighter display than Huawei Mate 30 Pro 5G, because although it has a bit worse 1920 x 1080px resolution and a way smaller display, it also counts with a bit higher number of pixels per inch in the screen. Huawei Mate 30 Pro 5G has a little bit better performance than Xperia Z5, because although it has doesn't have an additional graphics processing unit, and they both have the same number of cores, the Huawei Mate 30 Pro 5G also counts with a larger amount of RAM.
Huawei Mate 30 Pro 5G counts with a better camera than Xperia Z5, and although they both have the same (4K) video resolution, the Huawei Mate 30 Pro 5G also has a back-facing camera with way more megapixels, a larger aperture, a lot bigger sensor capturing more light and vivid colors and better video frame rate.
The Huawei Mate 30 Pro 5G counts with much more memory for apps and games than Sony Xperia Z5, because although it has no slot for SD memory cards, it also counts with 224 GB more internal memory. Huawei Mate 30 Pro 5G counts with a way better battery duration than Xperia Z5, because it has 4500mAh of battery capacity.
