The Huawei Mate X2 has an overall score of 89.1, which is much better than Xperia Z5's global score of 77.6. Both of these phones use Android operating system, but the Huawei Mate X2 has a more recent 10 version while Xperia Z5 has Android 5.1 version. Although the Huawei Mate X2 is newer than Xperia Z5, it's much heavier and a bit thicker.
The Huawei Mate X2 counts with just a little better hardware performance than Sony Xperia Z5, because although it has doesn't have an additional graphics processor, and they both have a Octa-Core processor, the Huawei Mate X2 also counts with more RAM. Sony Xperia Z5 has a little bit better display than Huawei Mate X2, because although it has a lot lower 1920 x 1080 resolution and a way smaller screen, it also counts with a bit greater pixels density.
The Huawei Mate X2 counts with a much bigger storage capacity to install applications and games than Sony Xperia Z5, because although it has no slot for external memory cards, it also counts with 224 GB more internal memory. The Huawei Mate X2 features a much longer battery performance than Xperia Z5, because it has 4500mAh of battery capacity instead of 2900mAh.
The Huawei Mate X2 has a bit better camera than Xperia Z5, because although it has a smaller aperture which is not nice for capturing photos and video in low-light environments, and they both have the same video definition and the same 30 fps video frame rates, the Huawei Mate X2 also counts with a camera with much more mega pixels.
Although Huawei Mate X2 is a better device, it costs a lot more than the Xperia Z5, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as Xperia Z5. So if you want that extra specs and features, you can buy Huawei Mate X2, otherwise you can save some dollars and get the Xperia Z5, letting go a couple features and specifications.
