The Huawei P40 has a general score of 86.4, which is better than Xperia Z5's global score of 77.6. Even though Huawei P40 is notably newer than the Xperia Z5, it is thicker and heavier. These phones include Android OS (operating system), but Huawei P40 has the newer 10 version and Xperia Z5 has Android 5.1, so it gives a lot of extra features and optimized performance.
The Xperia Z5 counts with just a bit better looking display than Huawei P40, because although it has a little lower resolution of 1920 x 1080px and a little bit smaller screen, it also counts with a bit greater pixels number per inch of screen.
