Comparison review
The LG G8 ThinQ is a little bit better than the Xperia Z5, getting a general score of 84.3 against 77.6. These phones work with Android operating system, but the LG G8 ThinQ has a newer 9.0 Pie version and Xperia Z5 has Android 5.1, so it offers some extra features. The LG G8 ThinQ design is incredibly newer than the Xperia Z5's, but it's a little heavier and thicker.
LG G8 ThinQ counts with a bit more powerful CPU than Xperia Z5, because although it has doesn't have an extra GPU, and they both have a Octa-Core processor, the LG G8 ThinQ also counts with a greater amount of RAM memory. LG G8 ThinQ has a bit more vivid display than Xperia Z5, because it has a higher pixels density, a bigger screen and a way better resolution of 1440 x 3120 pixels.
Sony Xperia Z5 has a bit better camera than LG G8 ThinQ, because although it has slower video frame rate and a tinier aperture which is not recommended for low light photos and video, and they both have the same 3840x2160 (4K) video quality, the Sony Xperia Z5 also counts with a back facing camera with a much better resolution and a bigger back-facing camera sensor capturing more light and vivid colors.
The LG G8 ThinQ features a very superior memory capacity to install applications and games than Sony Xperia Z5, because it has 128 GB internal memory capacity and a slot for external memory cards that holds a maximum of 1,95 TB. The LG G8 ThinQ counts with improved battery performance than Xperia Z5, because it has a 21 percent larger battery size.
