Comparison review

The LG V30S ThinQ has a global score of 82.5, which is a bit better than Xperia Z5's overall score of 77.6. LG V30S ThinQ's body has the same thickness than the Xperia Z5, but it is a little heavier. Both phones in our current comparison include Android OS (operating system), but the LG V30S ThinQ has newer 8.0 Oreo version while Xperia Z5 has Android 5.1 version, counting with a couple nice extra features and improved performance.

The Xperia Z5 has a little sharper display than LG V30S ThinQ, although it has a much lower 1920 x 1080px resolution, a little bit smaller display and a bit lower quantity of pixels per inch of display. The LG V30S ThinQ counts with a lot bigger memory for games and applications than Xperia Z5, because it has 96 GB more internal storage and a SD memory slot that allows up to 1,95 TB.

The LG V30S ThinQ has a little better hardware performance than Xperia Z5, because although it has doesn't have a graphics processing unit, and they both have a Octa-Core CPU, the LG V30S ThinQ also counts with more RAM. LG V30S ThinQ counts with a bit superior battery lifetime than Xperia Z5, because it has 3300mAh of battery capacity.

The Sony Xperia Z5 takes slightly better photos and videos than LG V30S ThinQ, because although it has a tinier diafragm aperture which is not favorable for low light captures and video, and they both have the same video frame rate and the same 3840x2160 video definition, the Sony Xperia Z5 also counts with a much larger back-facing camera sensor which gives a way higher image and video quality and a lot more MP camera in the back.

Although LG V30S ThinQ is a better device, it is way more expensive than the Xperia Z5, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as the Xperia Z5. If you want to save some dollars, you can buy Xperia Z5, giving up some specs and features, but you'll get the most out of your money.
