Moto G 5G Plus is slightly better than the Sony Xperia Z5, with a score of 82.6 against 77.6. The Moto G 5G Plus body is newer, but somewhat thicker and a lot heavier than Sony Xperia Z5. The Xperia Z5 counts with a more vivid display than Moto G 5G Plus, because although it has a bit worse resolution of 1920 x 1080 and a much smaller screen, it also counts with a little higher display pixel density.

The Xperia Z5 features a bit faster CPU than Moto G 5G Plus, because although it has 1 GB less RAM, and they both have the same number of cores, the Xperia Z5 also counts with a graphics co-processor. The Motorola Moto G 5G Plus has a way bigger storage capacity for apps and games than Xperia Z5, because it has a SD extension slot that admits up to 1000 GB and more internal storage capacity.

The Moto G 5G Plus takes just a bit better photographs and videos than Sony Xperia Z5, and although they both have the same video frame rates and the same video resolution, the Moto G 5G Plus also has a lot better resolution camera, a larger diafragm aperture for better photos and video in low-light environments and a larger back camera sensor shooting higher quality pictures.

The Motorola Moto G 5G Plus counts with a very superior battery duration than Sony Xperia Z5, because it has a 72% more battery size.
