The Xperia Z5 features a little better hardware performance than Motorola Moto G Power, because although it has a smaller amount of RAM memory, and they both have 8 cores, the Xperia Z5 also counts with a GPU.

The Moto G Power has a superior memory capacity for games and applications than Sony Xperia Z5, because it has an external memory card slot that supports up to 512 GB and more internal memory. The Moto G Power features a much longer battery performance than Sony Xperia Z5, because it has 5000mAh of battery capacity.

Xperia Z5 counts with a bit better camera than Moto G Power, because although it has a tinier camera aperture, and they both have the same video frame rate and the same (4K) video resolution, the Xperia Z5 also counts with a camera with much more megapixels and a bigger sensor capturing more light and vivid colors.

Although Sony Xperia Z5 is a better device, it is a lot more expensive than Motorola Moto G Power, and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as Motorola Moto G Power. So if you want that extra specs and features, you can buy the Sony Xperia Z5, else you can save some money and buy the Motorola Moto G Power, letting go a couple features and specs.
