The Nokia XR20 has a score of 80.8, which is slightly better than the Xperia Z5's overall score of 77.6. Both of these phones come with Android operating system, but the Nokia XR20 has a newer 11 version while Xperia Z5 has Android 5.1, providing you some extra features. Nokia XR20's design is noticeably newer than the Xperia Z5's, but it is noticeably heavier and extremely thicker.

The Sony Xperia Z5 features a bit more powerful processor than Nokia XR20, because although it has 3 GB lesser RAM, and they both have a Octa-Core processor, the Sony Xperia Z5 also counts with an additional graphics co-processor. Sony Xperia Z5 counts with a little bit better display than Nokia XR20, because although it has a little bit lower resolution of 1920 x 1080px and a much smaller display, it also counts with a little bit better screen density.

Nokia XR20 counts with much more storage for games and applications than Xperia Z5, because it has a slot for an SD memory card that allows a maximum of 512 GB and 128 GB internal memory capacity. The Nokia XR20 shoots clearer videos and photos than Xperia Z5, and although they both have a same size camera aperture, a same size back camera sensor and the same 1920x1080 video resolution, the Nokia XR20 also has a lot higher resolution back-facing camera and higher 60 fps video frame rates.

The Nokia XR20 counts with a superior battery performance than Xperia Z5, because it has a 60 percent bigger battery size.

Although Nokia XR20 is a better device, it costs more money than Xperia Z5, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as Xperia Z5. So if you need that extra features and specs, you can buy the Nokia XR20, but if you don't you can save a couple dollars and get the Xperia Z5, resigning some specifications.
