Both phones in this review come with Android OS (Operating System), but the Xperia Z5 has the previous 5.1 version while Samsung Galaxy A22 has Android 12 version. Xperia Z5's construction is somewhat lighter and somewhat thinner than the Samsung Galaxy A22, even though it was released 6 years before.
Sony Xperia Z5 counts with a lot better screen than Galaxy A22, because although it has a little bit smaller display, it also counts with a higher resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels and a lot better display pixel density. Samsung Galaxy A22 counts with a much bigger memory for applications, games, photos and videos than Xperia Z5, because it has a slot for SD memory cards that supports up to 1 TB and 64 GB internal storage capacity.
The Sony Xperia Z5 counts with a little bit better performance than Samsung Galaxy A22, because although it has lesser RAM, and they both have the same number of cores, the Sony Xperia Z5 also counts with an extra GPU. Sony Xperia Z5 captures much better photographs and videos than Galaxy A22, because although it has a much lower resolution back facing camera, and they both have a same size camera aperture, the Sony Xperia Z5 also counts with a lot higher video definition.
Xperia Z5 has a really longer battery lifetime than Galaxy A22.
