Comparison review
Galaxy A31 has a global score of 81.3, which is slightly better than the Xperia Z5's general score of 77.6. Both phones we are comparing work with Android OS, but the Galaxy A31 has newer 10 version and Xperia Z5 has Android 5.1, so it provides some extra features. The Galaxy A31 construction is a lot newer than Xperia Z5's, but it is somewhat heavier and somewhat thicker.
The Xperia Z5 features a bit better performance than Galaxy A31, because although it has a smaller amount of RAM memory, and they both have the same number of cores, the Xperia Z5 also counts with a GPU. Xperia Z5 features a sharper display than Samsung Galaxy A31, because although it has a bit smaller screen and a quite lower 1920 x 1080px resolution, it also counts with a little greater screen pixel density.
Samsung Galaxy A31 has a much bigger storage for applications and games than Sony Xperia Z5, because it has a slot for external memory cards that holds a maximum of 512 GB and more internal storage. Samsung Galaxy A31 takes a little bit better pictures and videos than Xperia Z5, because although it has a smaller camera aperture which is worse for low light captures, and they both have the same 30 fps video frame rate and the same 1920x1080 video resolution, the Samsung Galaxy A31 also counts with a camera with a way higher resolution and a bigger sensor which provides a better image and video quality.
The Galaxy A31 counts with a much longer battery life than Xperia Z5, because it has 5000mAh of battery capacity against 2900mAh.
