Comparison review

Galaxy Fold is a lot better than the Sony Xperia Z5, having a 97.6 score against 77.6. Both phones in our current comparison include Android operating system, but the Galaxy Fold has the newer 9.0 Pie version and Sony Xperia Z5 has Android 5.1, providing the user some extra features and performance improvements. Even though the Galaxy Fold is way heavier than the Sony Xperia Z5, it's a little bit thinner and a lot newer.

The Samsung Galaxy Fold counts with a bit superior CPU than Xperia Z5, because although it has doesn't have an extra graphics processing unit, and they both have the same number of cores, the Samsung Galaxy Fold also counts with more RAM memory. The Sony Xperia Z5 has a more vivid display than Samsung Galaxy Fold, because although it has a much smaller display and a lot worse resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels, it also counts with a just a little better pixels count in each inch in the display.

The Xperia Z5 takes clearer pictures and videos than Samsung Galaxy Fold, because although it has a smaller diafragm aperture which is not so good for taking images and video in low light situations and worse 30 frames per second video frame rate, and they both have the same (4K) video resolution, the Xperia Z5 also counts with a bigger sensor capturing higher quality videos and photos and a back-facing camera with lot more megapixels.

The Samsung Galaxy Fold has a much better memory for apps and games than Xperia Z5, because although it has no SD card slot, it also counts with more internal storage. The Samsung Galaxy Fold counts with a really longer battery performance than Xperia Z5, because it has a 51% larger battery size.

Although Samsung Galaxy Fold is a better device, it is a lot more expensive than the Xperia Z5, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as the Xperia Z5. So if you need that extra features and specs, you can buy Samsung Galaxy Fold, else you can save some money and get the Xperia Z5, resigning some features and specs.
