Comparison review

The Xperia Z5 is a little bit better than the Samsung Galaxy J8, having a 77.6 score against 76.7. Both of these phones come with Android OS, but Xperia Z5 has the older 5.1 version and Samsung Galaxy J8 has Android 10. The Xperia Z5 design is lighter and a bit thinner than Samsung Galaxy J8, although it was released many years before.

The Xperia Z5 features just a little better processing power than Galaxy J8, because although it has a smaller amount of RAM memory, and they both have the same number of cores, the Xperia Z5 also counts with an additional graphics processor. Xperia Z5 has a much more vibrant screen than Galaxy J8, because although it has a little smaller screen, it also counts with a better 1920 x 1080px resolution and a much higher pixels quantity per inch in the display.

Sony Xperia Z5 shoots much better photographs and videos than Samsung Galaxy J8, because although it has a tinier diafragm aperture which is not favorable for capturing photographs and video in low-light situations, it also counts with a larger sensor taking better quality videos and photos, a lot more MP back facing camera and a lot higher 3840x2160 (4K) video quality.

Galaxy J8 features a lot bigger memory for applications and games than Sony Xperia Z5, because it has an external memory card slot that supports up to 256 GB and more internal storage. The Galaxy J8 has better battery duration than Xperia Z5, because it has a 21% more battery size.
