Comparison review

Galaxy Note 5 is slightly better than the Sony Xperia Z5, having a global score of 79.3 against 77.6. Both phones in this review have the same Android 5.1 operating system. Even though Galaxy Note 5 is a better cellphone than Sony Xperia Z5, it must be noted that it's also a just a little thicker and a bit heavier cellphone.

The Samsung Galaxy Note 5 has a little sharper display than Xperia Z5, because it has a better 2560 x 1440px resolution, a bit greater pixels count per inch in the display and a little bit larger screen. The Sony Xperia Z5 has a better storage capacity for applications and games than Samsung Galaxy Note 5, because although it has just 32 GB internal storage capacity, it also counts with a SD memory card expansion slot that supports a maximum of 200 GB.

Xperia Z5 features a greater performance than Galaxy Note 5, because although it has a lower amount of RAM memory, it also counts with more cpu cores (although they are slower) and a graphics co-processor. Xperia Z5 captures a little bit better photographs and videos than Samsung Galaxy Note 5, and although they both have the same video frame rate and the same 3840x2160 video quality, the Xperia Z5 also has a camera in the back with much more megapixels, a bigger camera aperture to capture better low-light captures and video and a bigger sensor which gives a better image and video quality.

Samsung Galaxy Note 5 has a little better battery life than Xperia Z5, because it has a 3000mAh battery capacity against 2900mAh.

The Samsung Galaxy Note 5 is a little more expensive than the Xperia Z5, but it's still a convenient choice, because you can get a much better phone for that extra money.
