Comparison review
The Samsung Galaxy Note3 is a bit better than Xperia Z5, with a general score of 77.7 against 77.6. Both devices in this comparison have Android OS, but Samsung Galaxy Note3 has an older 4.4.2 version and Xperia Z5 has Android 5.1. Although the Samsung Galaxy Note3 is a better phone than the Xperia Z5, it must be noted that it's also older, somewhat thicker and a bit heavier.
Sony Xperia Z5 counts with a more vivid display than Galaxy Note3, because although it has a little bit smaller display, and they both have exactly the same 1920 x 1080 resolution, the Sony Xperia Z5 also counts with a bit greater pixel density. Samsung Galaxy Note3 counts with a quite bigger memory to store more games and applications than Xperia Z5, because although it has an external memory slot that holds a maximum of 64 GB against 200 GB, it also counts with 64 GB internal storage.
The Xperia Z5 features just a bit better hardware performance than Galaxy Note3, and although they both have 3 GB of RAM memory, the Xperia Z5 also has a graphics processor and a higher number of cores. Samsung Galaxy Note3 counts with a bit longer battery duration than Xperia Z5, because it has a 10% larger battery capacity.
Sony Xperia Z5 counts with a better camera than Samsung Galaxy Note3, and although they both have the same (4K) video quality and the same video frame rate, the Sony Xperia Z5 also has a bigger aperture for better low-light images and videos, a way larger sensor which provides a much better image and video quality and a camera in the back with a lot higher 23 MP resolution.
