Samsung Galaxy S6 is a bit better than Xperia Z5, getting a global score of 83.5 against 77.6. These phones come with Android OS, but the Samsung Galaxy S6 has older 5.0 version while Xperia Z5 has Android 5.1. Samsung Galaxy S6's design is lighter and just a little bit thinner than the Xperia Z5, although both of them were released only 5 months apart.
The Samsung Galaxy S6 has a slightly better display than Sony Xperia Z5, because although it has a little smaller screen, it also counts with a better resolution of 2560 x 1440px and a higher pixels quantity per inch in the display. The Xperia Z5 features much more memory capacity to install applications and games than Galaxy S6, and although they both have equal internal storage capacity, the Xperia Z5 also has an external SD slot that supports up to 200 GB.

The Xperia Z5 has a bit better battery life than Galaxy S6, because it has 2900mAh of battery capacity against 2550mAh.
Even being the best phone of the ones in this comparison, Galaxy S6 is also a bargain compared to the other ones, which makes it a great choice.
