Comparison review
The Galaxy S6 Edge has a general score of 85.7, which is better than the Sony Xperia Z5's 77.6 general score. Although the Galaxy S6 Edge and the Sony Xperia Z5 were only released with a couple of months difference, the Galaxy S6 Edge is just a bit thinner and lighter. Both of these phones include Android OS, but Galaxy S6 Edge has 5.0 version while Sony Xperia Z5 has Android 5.1 version.
Galaxy S6 Edge counts with a little bit better looking screen than Sony Xperia Z5, because although it has a little bit smaller screen, it also counts with more pixels per display inch and a higher resolution of 2560 x 1440. The Galaxy S6 Edge has a bit more powerful CPU than Sony Xperia Z5, and although they both have 3 GB of RAM and the same number of cores, the Galaxy S6 Edge also has a much better graphics processor running at 650 megahertz and a 64-bit processor.
Xperia Z5 takes much clearer photos and videos than Galaxy S6 Edge, and although they both have the same video frame rate and the same (4K) video quality, the Xperia Z5 also has a larger sensor, a back-facing camera with much more megapixels and a bigger aperture for better low light photography. The Galaxy S6 Edge counts with a better storage capacity to store more games and applications than Sony Xperia Z5, because although it has no slot for an external memory card, it also counts with 128 GB internal storage capacity.
Xperia Z5 features a little better battery duration than Galaxy S6 Edge, because it has a 12% more battery capacity.
Although Galaxy S6 Edge is a better device, it costs a lot more than Sony Xperia Z5, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as the Sony Xperia Z5. If you want to save a few dollars, you can get Sony Xperia Z5, letting go a few features and specs, but you'll get the most with your budget.
