Galaxy Z Flip has a general score of 88.5, which is much better than Xperia Z5's overall score of 77.6. The Galaxy Z Flip body is way newer and just a little bit thinner than the Xperia Z5's, but it's somewhat heavier. These devices work with Android OS (operating system), but Galaxy Z Flip has newer 12 version and Xperia Z5 has Android 5.1 version.
The Samsung Galaxy Z Flip counts with a bit faster processor than Sony Xperia Z5, because although it has doesn't have an extra graphics processor, and they both have the same number of cores, the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip also counts with a larger amount of RAM. Xperia Z5 counts with a slightly better display than Galaxy Z Flip, although it has a bit lower pixels number per inch in the screen, a lot smaller display and a bit worse 1920 x 1080 resolution.
Galaxy Z Flip counts with a superior storage for applications and games than Xperia Z5, because although it has no external SD slot, it also counts with more internal storage. Xperia Z5 takes slightly better photographs and videos than Galaxy Z Flip, because although it has lower 30 frames per second video frame rates, and they both have the same video quality and the same aperture, the Xperia Z5 also counts with a lot more megapixels camera in the back and a larger back camera sensor capturing higher quality photos.
Samsung Galaxy Z Flip counts with a bit better battery life than Xperia Z5, because it has a 3300mAh battery capacity.
Although Galaxy Z Flip is a better device, it costs a lot more money than Xperia Z5, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as Xperia Z5. So if you want that extra features, you can buy the Galaxy Z Flip, but if you don't you can save a couple dollars and buy the Xperia Z5, resigning a couple features and specifications.
