Comparison review
Xperia 1 III is much better than the Xperia Z5, getting a score of 93.3 against 77.6. Although the Xperia 1 III is newer than the Xperia Z5, it is a bit thicker and somewhat heavier. Both of these devices use Android OS (Operating System), but Xperia 1 III has newer 11 version and Xperia Z5 has Android 5.1, so it gives you a couple nice extra features and increased performance.
The Sony Xperia 1 III has a bit more vivid display than Xperia Z5, because it has a lot higher quantity of pixels per inch of screen, a larger screen and a way better resolution of 1644 x 3840 pixels. Xperia 1 III has a much bigger memory to store more games and applications than Sony Xperia Z5, because it has a SD card slot that allows a maximum of 1 TB and 256 GB internal memory capacity.
The Sony Xperia 1 III has a bit superior CPU than Sony Xperia Z5, because although it has doesn't have a graphics co-processor, and they both have 8 cpu cores, the Sony Xperia 1 III also counts with more RAM. Xperia 1 III counts with a way better battery life than Xperia Z5, because it has 4500mAh of battery capacity instead of 2900mAh.
The Sony Xperia 1 III counts with just a bit better camera than Sony Xperia Z5, because although it has a lower 3840x2160 (4K) video quality and a camera in the back with a much worse resolution, it also counts with a much bigger back-facing camera sensor taking more light and vivid colors and a bigger aperture.
Although Sony Xperia 1 III is a better device, it costs a lot more money than the Xperia Z5, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as Xperia Z5. So if you need that extra specs, you can buy Sony Xperia 1 III, otherwise you can save some dollars and get the Xperia Z5, resigning some features and specs.
