Xperia 5 II has an overall score of 87.2, which is better than Sony Xperia Z5's global score of 77.6. The Xperia 5 II design is incredibly newer, but just a bit heavier and a bit thicker than Sony Xperia Z5. The Xperia Z5 counts with a little sharper screen than Xperia 5 II, although it has a bit smaller screen, a bit worse resolution of 1920 x 1080px and a just a bit lower pixels density.
Sony Xperia 5 II has a way bigger storage for apps and games than Sony Xperia Z5, because it has a slot for an external memory card that supports a maximum of 1000 GB and 96 GB more internal memory capacity. Sony Xperia 5 II features a bit more powerful processor than Xperia Z5, because although it has doesn't have a GPU, and they both have the same number of cores, the Sony Xperia 5 II also counts with more RAM.
The Sony Xperia 5 II features a superior battery lifetime than Sony Xperia Z5, because it has 4000mAh of battery capacity. The Xperia 5 II features a little bit better camera than Xperia Z5, because although it has a lower video definition and a back facing camera with a way worse resolution, it also counts with a larger camera aperture and a lot bigger camera sensor capturing lot higher quality photographs and videos.
Although Xperia 5 II is a better device, it costs a lot more than Xperia Z5, and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as the Xperia Z5. If you want to save some dollars, you can buy the Xperia Z5, letting go a few features and specs, but you will get the most out of your money.
