Comparison review
Sony Xperia 5 III has a score of 90.5, which is better than Sony Xperia Z5's 77.6 global score. Both of these phones use Android OS, but Sony Xperia 5 III has 11 version and Sony Xperia Z5 has Android 5.1, giving some nice extra features and performance tweaks. Although the Sony Xperia 5 III is much newer than the Sony Xperia Z5, it is just a little bit heavier and a little thicker.
Xperia Z5 has a little sharper display than Xperia 5 III, although it has a little bit worse pixel density, a little bit lower resolution of 1920 x 1080px and a quite smaller display. The Xperia 5 III counts with a very superior memory to install applications and games than Xperia Z5, because it has a SD extension slot that holds up to 1 TB and more internal storage capacity.
The Xperia 5 III features just a bit better hardware performance than Xperia Z5, because although it has doesn't have a GPU, and they both have 8 CPU cores, the Xperia 5 III also counts with more RAM. The Xperia 5 III has a very superior battery life than Xperia Z5, because it has a 55 percent larger battery size.
Xperia 5 III takes a bit better videos and photos than Xperia Z5, because although it has a way lower 12 mega-pixels resolution back facing camera and a lower (4K) video quality, it also counts with a bigger aperture for better photography in low light situations and a lot larger sensor which provides a lot better image and video quality.
