Comparison review
The Xperia XZ2 Premium is slightly better than Xperia Z5, with a global score of 82.2 against 77.6. Xperia XZ2 Premium's design is extremely newer, but way heavier and extremely thicker than the Xperia Z5. The Sony Xperia XZ2 Premium features a little bit better processing power than Sony Xperia Z5, because although it has doesn't have an extra graphics processor, and they both have the same number of cores, the Sony Xperia XZ2 Premium also counts with a greater amount of RAM memory.
Sony Xperia XZ2 Premium has a better looking screen than Xperia Z5, because it has a much higher pixels amount per inch of screen, a little bigger screen and a way better 2160 x 3840 pixels resolution. The Xperia Z5 counts with a bit better camera than Xperia XZ2 Premium, and although they both have a F1.8 aperture, a same size sensor, the same 30 fps video frame rate and the same 3840x2160 (4K) video resolution, the Xperia Z5 also has a back facing camera with a better 23 MP resolution.
Sony Xperia XZ2 Premium counts with a much bigger memory capacity to install games and applications than Xperia Z5, because it has an external memory card slot that holds a maximum of 400 GB and 32 GB more internal storage. Xperia XZ2 Premium has longer battery lifetime than Sony Xperia Z5, because it has 3540mAh of battery capacity.
Although Sony Xperia XZ2 Premium is a better device, it costs a lot more money than the Sony Xperia Z5, and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as Sony Xperia Z5. So if you want that extra features and specs, you can buy the Sony Xperia XZ2 Premium, otherwise you can save a couple dollars and get the Sony Xperia Z5, resigning some specifications.
