Xperia Z5 is a little bit better than Xperia XZs, with a 77.6 score against 77.2. The Xperia Z5 is an older phone than Xperia XZs, but Sony could make it just a little thinner and a little bit lighter anyway. The Xperia Z5 has a bit faster CPU than Xperia XZs, because although it has 1 GB lesser RAM memory, it also counts with an extra GPU and a larger number of cores (although slower).
The Xperia Z5 features a brighter display than Xperia XZs. Both have the same pixels density, exactly the same 1920 x 1080px resolution and a screen with the same size. The Xperia XZs captures way better pictures and videos than Xperia Z5, although it has a worse (4K) video quality, a camera with a worse resolution and a smaller aperture which is not so good for low-light images and videos, they both have the same back-facing camera sensor size.
The Xperia XZs features just a bit more memory capacity for applications, games, photos and videos than Sony Xperia Z5, and although they both have exactly the same 32 GB internal storage, the Xperia XZs also has a slot for external memory cards that supports up to 256 GB. The Xperia XZs has a battery duration that's very similar to the battery duration in Sony Xperia Z5.
The Xperia Z5 is not only the best phones in our comparison, but it's also by far the cheapest, which makes it an obvious call.
