Comparison review
Xiaomi Mi Mix Alpha is much better than the Sony Xperia Z5, getting a global score of 88.9 against 77.6. Both phones in this review work with Android OS (Operating System), but Xiaomi Mi Mix Alpha has the newer 10 version while Sony Xperia Z5 has Android 5.1, so it gives you a couple nice extra features and enhanced performance. The Xiaomi Mi Mix Alpha body is much newer, but notably heavier and a lot thicker than the Sony Xperia Z5.
The Xiaomi Mi Mix Alpha counts with just a bit better hardware performance than Xperia Z5, because although it has doesn't have a graphics processing unit, and they both have 8 CPU cores, the Xiaomi Mi Mix Alpha also counts with more RAM. Xperia Z5 counts with a more vivid screen than Xiaomi Mi Mix Alpha, because although it has a really smaller display and a way worse 1920 x 1080 resolution, it also counts with a just a bit greater screen pixel density.
Xiaomi Mi Mix Alpha's camera is just as good as the Sony Xperia Z5 one, and although the Xiaomi Mi Mix Alpha has a camera in the back with much more mega-pixels, a lot bigger sensor providing a way better image quality and a bigger diafragm aperture to capture better low light photography and video, they both have the same (4K) video resolution and the same video frame rate.
Xiaomi Mi Mix Alpha features a lot bigger memory for applications, games, photos and videos than Sony Xperia Z5, because although it has no slot for an SD memory card, it also counts with 512 GB internal memory. The Xiaomi Mi Mix Alpha counts with a much better battery performance than Sony Xperia Z5, because it has 4050mAh of battery capacity instead of 2900mAh.
