Comparison review
Samsung Galaxy A42 is much better than the TCL 10 5G UW, with a overall score of 87 against 73.5. Although the Samsung Galaxy A42 and the TCL 10 5G UW were only released with a couple months difference, the Samsung Galaxy A42 is just a bit thinner and a little lighter. These phones have Android operating system, but Samsung Galaxy A42 has newer 11 version and TCL 10 5G UW has Android 10.
TCL 10 5G UW has a bit more powerful processing unit than Galaxy A42, and although they both have a Octa-Core processor, the TCL 10 5G UW also has a greater amount of RAM. TCL 10 5G UW counts with a more vivid screen than Galaxy A42, because although it has a little smaller screen, it also counts with a lot higher resolution of 1080 x 2340 and a greater display density.
Galaxy A42's camera is just as good as the TCL 10 5G UW one, both of them have the same 3840x2160 (4K) video quality, the same 30 fps video frame rate, a same size diafragm aperture and a 48 megapixels resolution back camera. The Samsung Galaxy A42 features a greater storage for games and applications than TCL 10 5G UW, and although they both have equal 128 GB internal memory capacity, the Samsung Galaxy A42 also has a slot for an external memory card that supports a maximum of 1000 GB.
The Samsung Galaxy A42 features just a bit longer battery duration than TCL 10 5G UW, because it has a 5000mAh battery capacity.
