Comparison review
Galaxy Note8 is better than the TCL 10 5G UW, with a global score of 83 against 73.5. The Galaxy Note8 construction is a little bit thinner and a little bit lighter than TCL 10 5G UW, even though it was released many years before. These phones work with Android OS (operating system), but the Galaxy Note8 has newer 9.0 Pie version while TCL 10 5G UW has Android 10, so it gives some additional features.
Galaxy Note8 counts with a bit sharper screen than TCL 10 5G UW, because although it has a little smaller display, it also counts with a higher 1440 x 2960 pixels resolution and a greater screen density. The TCL 10 5G UW counts with a much better storage capacity for applications, games, photos and videos than Galaxy Note8, and although they both have a slot for an SD memory card that supports up to 256 GB, the TCL 10 5G UW also has 64 GB more internal storage capacity.
Galaxy Note8 and TCL 10 5G UW have very similar processors, both have a 6 GB RAM memory and 8 CPU cores. TCL 10 5G UW captures much better photographs and videos than Galaxy Note8, because although it has a tinier aperture, and they both have the same video definition and the same 30 fps video frame rates, the TCL 10 5G UW also counts with a back facing camera with way more mega pixels.
TCL 10 5G UW counts with superior battery life than Galaxy Note8, because it has a 36% more battery size.
The Samsung Galaxy Note8 costs a bit more money than TCL 10 5G UW, but you can get a better phone for that extra money.
