Comparison review
The Sony Xperia 1 III is a lot better than the TCL 10 5G UW, with a global score of 93.3 against 73.5. These phones come with Android operating system, but Sony Xperia 1 III has 11 version while TCL 10 5G UW has Android 10 version, giving you some additional features and improved performance. Although Sony Xperia 1 III and the TCL 10 5G UW were released with only a couple of months difference, Sony Xperia 1 III is somewhat thinner and somewhat lighter.
Xperia 1 III has just a bit better hardware performance than TCL 10 5G UW, and although they both have a Octa-Core processing unit, the Xperia 1 III also has more RAM. Xperia 1 III counts with a sharper display than TCL 10 5G UW, and although they both have a screen with the same size, the Xperia 1 III also has a way higher pixels count per inch in the display and a much better resolution of 1644 x 3840px.
The Xperia 1 III features a way bigger memory for applications, games, photos and videos than TCL 10 5G UW, because it has a slot for an SD memory card that allows up to 1 TB and 256 GB internal memory. The TCL 10 5G UW takes just a bit better videos and photos than Xperia 1 III, because although it has a tinier diafragm aperture which is worse for shooting pictures or videos in low-light environments and worse video frame rates, and they both have the same (4K) video definition, the TCL 10 5G UW also counts with a back-facing camera with a way higher 48 mega-pixels resolution.
The Xperia 1 III has a battery duration that's just as good as the battery duration in TCL 10 5G UW.
Sony Xperia 1 III is a lot more expensive than the TCL 10 5G UW, but you can get a much better phone for that few extra dollars.
