Comparison review
The HTC U Ultra is just a bit better than the TCL 10 Pro, getting a general score of 77 against 72.1. Despite of the fact that HTC U Ultra is way older than TCL 10 Pro, it's construction is just a little bit lighter and thinner. TCL 10 Pro has a bit more powerful processor than HTC U Ultra, because it has a greater amount of RAM memory and more CPU cores.
TCL 10 Pro counts with a bit better looking screen than HTC U Ultra, because although it has a just a little worse number of pixels per inch in the screen and a bit lower resolution of 1080 x 2340px, it also counts with a little larger display. HTC U Ultra has more storage capacity for games and applications than TCL 10 Pro, because although it has just 64 GB internal memory capacity, it also counts with a SD extension slot that supports a maximum of 1,95 TB.
The TCL 10 Pro counts with a lot better camera than HTC U Ultra, and although they both have the same video frame rates, a F1.8 aperture and the same 3840x2160 (4K) video quality, the TCL 10 Pro also has a lot bigger back camera sensor and a way more MP camera in the back. The TCL 10 Pro features a superior battery life than HTC U Ultra, because it has a 52 percent bigger battery size.
Although HTC U Ultra is a better device, it costs a lot more money than the TCL 10 Pro, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as TCL 10 Pro. If you prefer to save some dollars, you can get TCL 10 Pro, and give up a few features and specifications, but you will get the most with your savings.
