The Huawei Mate 8 has a general score of 77.4, which is a little bit better than the TCL 10 Pro's 72.1 global score. Even though Huawei Mate 8 is noticeably older than the TCL 10 Pro, it's body is somewhat thinner and just a little lighter. TCL 10 Pro has a more vivid screen than Huawei Mate 8, because it has a little better screen density, a little bit bigger display and a bit higher 1080 x 2340px resolution.
The TCL 10 Pro features slightly more memory to store more games and applications than Huawei Mate 8, and although they both have the same internal memory, the TCL 10 Pro also has an external memory slot that allows up to 256 GB. Huawei Mate 8 features a bit faster CPU than TCL 10 Pro, although it has a lower amount of RAM, they both have a Octa-Core processor.
TCL 10 Pro features a very superior camera than Huawei Mate 8, because it has a much better 3840x2160 (4K) video definition, a camera with a lot higher resolution and a bigger camera aperture for better low-light images. The TCL 10 Pro has just a bit better battery lifetime than Huawei Mate 8, because it has a 4550mAh battery capacity.
Although Huawei Mate 8 is a better device, it costs a lot more money than TCL 10 Pro, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as the TCL 10 Pro. So if you need that extra specs, you can buy Huawei Mate 8, otherwise you can save some money and buy the TCL 10 Pro, giving up a couple specifications.
