The Moto Z2 Play is a bit better than the TCL 10 Pro, getting a general score of 77.4 against 72.1. Moto Z2 Play is an much older phone than TCL 10 Pro, but Motorola was able to build it much thinner and a lot lighter anyway. TCL 10 Pro counts with a much better display than Motorola Moto Z2 Play, because although it has a just a bit lower count of pixels per display inch, it also counts with a little higher resolution of 1080 x 2340 pixels and a larger display.
The Motorola Moto Z2 Play has a processor that is just as good as TCL 10 Pro's CPU, and although the Motorola Moto Z2 Play has 2 GB lesser RAM memory, they both have a Octa-Core CPU. The Moto Z2 Play features a better memory capacity for applications, games, photos and videos than TCL 10 Pro, because although it has only 64 GB internal memory, it also counts with an external memory card slot that allows a maximum of 1,95 TB.
The TCL 10 Pro has a lot better camera than Motorola Moto Z2 Play, because although it has a tinier diafragm aperture which is worse for capturing images and/or video in low-light environments, and they both have the same (4K) video resolution and the same video frame rate, the TCL 10 Pro also counts with a much more mega-pixels camera in the back.
TCL 10 Pro counts with a much longer battery performance than Moto Z2 Play, because it has a 52% larger battery size.
The Motorola Moto Z2 Play is not only the best phones between the ones we are comparing, but it's also by far the cheapest one.
