Comparison review
Galaxy A40 is better than TCL 10 Pro, getting a overall score of 79.6 against 72.1. The Galaxy A40 body is somewhat thinner and way lighter than the TCL 10 Pro, although it was released about 14 months before. Both devices in this comparison review come with Android operating system, but the Galaxy A40 has the newer 11 version while TCL 10 Pro has Android 10, so it provides you some additional features.
The TCL 10 Pro features a bit better screen than Samsung Galaxy A40, because although it has a just a bit lower pixels amount per screen inch, and they both have an equal 1080 x 2340 resolution, the TCL 10 Pro also counts with a quite bigger screen. TCL 10 Pro features a bigger memory for applications, games, photos and videos than Galaxy A40, because although it has a SD memory card expansion slot that admits 256 GB smaller, it also counts with 128 GB internal storage capacity.
The TCL 10 Pro has a bit faster processing unit than Galaxy A40, and although they both have 8 processing cores, the TCL 10 Pro also has more RAM. TCL 10 Pro features a superior battery lifetime than Galaxy A40, because it has a 47% larger battery size. The TCL 10 Pro shoots way better videos and photos than Galaxy A40, because although it has a smaller aperture which is not so good for low-light captures and videos, it also counts with a way higher 3840x2160 video resolution, a way bigger sensor shooting much better quality photos and videos and a much higher resolution back facing camera.
